UCMR 5 results
The Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR) requires certain public water systems like ours to collect samples that help EPA determine what to regulate in the future. A new 'round' of candidates for regulation is released every five years.
We are collecting samples twice in 2025 to comply with "UCMR 5", the fifth iteration of the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule.
The results of the first of two rounds of samples was collected on June 23, 2025. The results are shown below. There were no detections of 29 different variants of PFAS compounds or lithium.
We will include our formal public notification of these results in the 2025 consumer confidence report which should be released in 2026.
