GAUD CCTV, Road Crews, and Subcontractors will be working throughout the city at night on Western Avenue, Bangor Street, and State Street this coming Sunday, May 17 through Thursday, May 21, 2026.

The on-road time will be approximately 6 PM - 6 AM with multiple work zones each night. 

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK 

• Sunday, May 17 - Western Avenue - single lane closures
• Monday, May 18 - State Street closure from Bridge to Bond (see below for details); Western Avenue - single lane closures
• Tuesday, May 19 -  State Street closure from Bridge to Bond (see below for details); Western Avenue - single lane closures
• Wednesday, May 20 - Bangor Street - both inside-lane closures; Western Avenue - single lane closures
• Thursday, May 21 - Bangor Street - both inside-lane closures; Western Avenue - single lane closures

STATE STREET CLOSURE DETAILS: 6 PM-MIDNIGHT - MONDAY/TUESDAY

• We will close State Street from Bridge Street to Bond Street to all traffic, with the exception of large trucks and emergency response vehicles. 
• There will be an advance detour at Winthrop Street for northbound traffic and a hard closure and detour at Bridge Street directing drivers along Water Street to Bond Street
• There will be a hard closure and detour at Bond Street for southbound traffic, directing drivers along Water Street to Winthrop Street.
• Crosby Street Place will be closed at Crosby Street
• Laurel Lane will be closed at Water Street
• GAUD personnel will be present at the Bond Street and Bridge Street intersections to allow large trucks and emergency response vehicles through the closure and work zone for the duration of the closure.
